There’s no easy way to lose weight, get into shape, get fit, get toned. Take a moment and think about it. If there were…more people than not would achieve their fitness/ weight loss goals? But guess what? It isn’t easy, so more people fail than are successful. You can’t buy it in a bottle. You can’t purchase it through surgery. You can’t be successful at it part time. It takes focus, drive and a long term commitment from YOU! The foundation of it all is yourself…your willingness to give it all you’ve got and succeed. Oprah said it best:
“There’s no easy way out. If there were, I would have bought it. And believe me, it would be one of my favorite things!” -Oprah Winfrey
Doesn’t her statement make you wonder? Oprah has an enormous amount of $$$money$$$. You might say, she could hire a personal chef. She could hire her own personal trainer. She could have lots of lipo treatments and tummy tucks. She could purchase and try out every weight loss drug there is. The TRUTH is, the road less traveled is usually the right one. The short cut isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Anything worthwhile is worth working for. Do you believe your health is worth working for? I do! It’s the most valuable thing you have. It’s priceless!
Take care of your most valuable asset. Sure a personal chef would be great if you could afford it, but remember, you have to have the will to want to eat the healthy things he/she prepares for you. AND you have to have the will to not over eat those healthy things. Too much of anything isn’t good right? Sure you could hire a personal trainer, but remember to have the will to break a sweat, and give it all you’ve got. You’ve got to give to get right? Sure you could purchase a lipo treatment or tummy tuck, but you have to have the will to not do the same things that got you to that point in the first place or else you’ll soon find yourself right back at square one more in debt and another surgery under your belt. How many surgeries is too many before there’s nothing left natural looking about you? Yup, I think Oprah had it right. There’s no easy way out. Are you ready to commit to better health?
